Become a Vendor

henna paintingThe Devon Community Market recruits vendors that are committed to creating a multicultural marketplace where all are welcome to shop local, taste global. More specifically, we seek a balance of vendors who offer one or more of the following:
  • Fresh sustainably grown produce: seasonably appropriate fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants, meat, dairy, and honey grown in Illinois or neighboring states using organic or sustainable practices
  • Hand-made prepared foods: breads and pastries; jams and chutneys; cold drinks and popsicles; and hot "street food" such as tacos, chaat, falafel that are made from scratch in an approved kitchen
  • Hand-crafted non-food items: original wood carvings, jewelry, candles, scarves, soaps, and other artisanal products that are created by hand from high quality materials
  • Healthy living resources: interactive information that equips people to live in more healthy and connected ways. Past examples include cancer screening kits, health insurance enrollment, and Zumba dance demonstrations
