Meet the 2015 Vendors

The Devon Community Market is the only place in the City of Chicago where you can snack on aloo chaat, browse exquisite wooden puzzles, listen to live marimba music, and finish it all off with a kosher cupcake! Our cooks, bakers, craftspeople, and artists come from the neighborhood with hand-made goods that reflect the rich (and delicious!) diversity of the area. Our fresh produce comes from various farms in the region that are committed to sustainable practices.

Some of the vendors will be participating in the Market on a rotating schedule rather than every week. And, we will be adding new vendors throughout the season. So, visit frequently because each week will be a new experience!

Going Green Science

Through live experiments, we will offer kids the opportunity to explore, create and enhance their curiosity for science. Our focus is to develop an enthusiasm in teens towards careers around science and to cultivate problem-solving skills, learning connecting concepts and healthy questioning through discovery.

We are an historic landmark and public space in the heart of West Ridge. The library has graciously served this diverse and vibrant neighborhood since 1962. At the Devon Community Market, we will have story time for the children while offering arts and crafts to keep the little ones entertained. 

Performing Arts Limited

We have been serving the community and the surrounding areas since 2000.  Since our establishment, PAL has continued to bring the highest standard of education in the arts to children and adults of all levels. All of our highly certified teachers are dedicated to impassioning their students to reach their highest potential. At the Devon Community Market, we plan on engaging the community and offering instructional dance to youth and any willing adults!

St. James Presbyterian Church

We are a progressive church and we seek to engage more with the neighborhood. We will offer light refreshments, and an opportunity for children to participate in art projects. We also plan to offer small gifts, such as stones or shells with messages of love, peace and hope.

We are excited to bring our unique Mirai sweet corn to the Devon Community Market. Our sweet corn is a hybrid that has changed the meaning of sweet corn. Deemed the sweetest, most tender, and flavorful corn available by customers worldwide, Twin Garden Farms Mirai sweet corn was developed right here in Harvard, Illinois.
