Per our last blog entry we expressed our desire to formalize a planning committee for our upcoming 2016 Devon Community Market. In the spirit of moving in that direction the Chamber of Commerce will be sending out surveys regarding the Devon Community Market. The survey will be sent out to individuals through our database, mailing list and provided at our welcome table on August 26th. In addition, the survey will be available on the Chamber's website and the Market website. It is vital for us to gather all feedback and viewpoints so we are able to strengthen our efforts. Once this is done we will extend invitations to a public gathering to discuss viewpoints and ways we can work together in programming activities for the community and business corridor.
We recognize that if we are going to be successful in our programming efforts, it is the community that will be the backbone to strengthening all activities in West Ridge. The Devon Community Market can only flourish with the community's support and participation. On August 26th we are planning to go out with a bang and asking that you help us in spreading the word. We will have live entertainment, kosher food options, educational & art vendors, baked goods, fruits and vegetables and much more! Let's end the summer with a splash and a huge show of support.
